PAYMENT QUESTIONS

Q: Which credit cards do you accept?
A: Modern-ContemporaryFurniture.com accepts Discover, MasterCard and Visa.

Q: Aside from credit cards what other forms of payment do you accept?
A: We do accept Check / Money orders. This form of payment must be made in full and will be cashed at the time of purchase and shipping. The order will NOT ship until the check clears.

Q: Do I have to pay sales tax?
A: Sales tax is ONLY charged for instate deliveries to Missouri, which is calculated during the check-out process.

Q: When will I be charged for my order?
A: For non-special order items, your credit card will not be charged until we have verified the order and processed it with our manufacturer. For security purposes, at the time of purchase, your credit card will be run through an approval process for the full amount of the purchase.

Q: How do I know your shopping cart is secure?
A: Modern-ContemporaryFurniture.com uses industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) software to encrypt your personal information and credit card information. For the highest level of security.

Q: How will my personal information be used?
A: Your personal information will only be used to process and ship your order. We will never sell your information to any third parties. Any personal information submitted in optional surveys, newsletters or promotions will only be used for our company.

SHIPPING QUESTIONS

Q: What does shipping cost?
A: We offer FREE curbside delivery on all items shipping within the 48 contiguous United States, with some exceptions. These exceptions will be noted as such with an "Oversize Surcharge" on their product pages.

Q: Will the carrier bring my item(s) into my home?
A: Not for the free shipping option. Some items will be able to be brought into the home, these items will be shipped with a carrier who will call to confirm before delivering the items to make sure someone is available.

Q: When will I receive my purchase?
A: If the item(s) you wish to purchase are in stock, you should receive them within one-three weeks. Modern-ContemporaryFurniture.com offers a wide array of items, many of which are subject to longer lead times and limited stock. We do our absolute best ensure that the delivery times listed on each and every product page are accurate and up-to-date. Q: What if my order arrives damaged?
A: Every shipment is insured in the unlikely event that damage occurs during transit to your shipping location. While cases are extremely rare, damages do happen once in a while. We request that you inspect your item(s) upon delivery. If your item(s) shipped via common carrier i.e. FedEx or UPS, simply refuse delivery and contact us immediately for a replacement. Some orders may require paper work from us that we will have you fill out and fax back. If the product is accepted and damaged, you will be responsible for filing a claim with the proper carrier. For damages unnoticed at the time of delivery, we ask that you send us photographs via email within 24 hours, so that we can address and correct the situation.

Q: Do you ship overseas?
A: Not currently.

Q: How can I track my order?

Q: What is your return policy?
A: Some items can be returned without a restocking fee. Other items require a restocking fee ranging from 10%-30%. For specific information regarding restocking fees on particular items, please email us at modern-contemporaryfurniture.com. Items must be unassembled and unused, in their original condition and packaging, complete with all materials. Please contact us to request a Return Authorization form. Once you have received and completed the form, simply attach it to the original box and send it directly to the original manufacturer (see return address on box). All returns must be post-marked within 7 days of delivery. Unless the item has been damaged, you will be responsible for shipping costs back to the manufacturer. All returns must be sent insured for the purchase price. Failure to do so will impair our ability to issue a refund if the item is returned with shipping damage. Bedding and any item marked as "Special Order" are not returnable, unless they were damaged during transit.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Because most of our items ship or go into production within a few days, we can only accept cancellations within 24 hours from when your order was placed. If an item has already shipped within this 24 hour period, you will be responsible for paying shipping back to the manufacturer and a restocking fee. If an item has a longer lead time we will contact you and let you know, if we have not heard back from you seven business days later we will assume that this time is acceptable and commit you to that order.

Q: Is my purchase protected by a warranty?
